Wedding at home, 2020 adjustments

We've all made a few changes this year.
A few things definitely had to change around this year, but that doesn’t mean we couldn’t celebrate Rachel and Roberts’s wedding. For each couple that has had to change their plants around this year, I decided to give them the opportunity of adding a celebration shoot to their wedding package. Additionally, I decided to extend the 2020 Wedding photography discount to the rest of the year as well.
They decided that the best thing that they could do at the moment was to have a ceremony at home, get ready to move forward in their lives as a married couple, and come back together to celebrate later in the year with their friends and family.
To the couple directly: Thank you guys for giving me the opportunity to work when the world needed to adjust. You guys gave me an opportunity to do what I feel is most telling of my skills and personality. You guys showed me that I could be a wedding photographer and that there are people who are still happy to support wedding photography, even with so much going on, and so much needing to be different.
This is also one of the fun times I got to use a new lens that was made recently available at our local camera rental location in Portland. Prophoto supply has been the best window for me to try out new equipment and test new opportunities. Such as shooting in a heavily mixed lighting location indoors with little light control. I like to consider them the invisible vendor making what I do possible during my 2020 weddings.
