To the top of the Mountain
A few years ago i met Jasmine in a routine "lets check out this new coffee spot" while roaming around town adventure. And then over the years, a mutual admeration to coffee was made and I had heard through the grapevine (instagram) that she and Nick were engaged! I grabbed my phone and a congradulatiosn later we were planning a photoshoot for them. To take care of the motorcycle it was deemed nessessary to stay relatively close to town. So in Portland downtown in the midmorning, one of the best places to photograph is MT. Tabor. A little bit of travel later we were there with them and their dog! Here are some photos from that photoshoot for you guys to enjoy!

In the Presence of great people
Have you ever been in the presence of people that are just excited to be there as you are? It’s been a tough last few years for everyone around and this couple approached me right as things were getting hairy with the world situation. But the name of the game was to adapt and make the best wedding possible, something that we have gotten pretty good at over the last two years. Friends and family came along to celebrate with Kelsee and Jordan in a lovely ceremony. I had a great time being with them at the park that was built for wedding ceremonies in central Oregon. If anything I wish I had more time to explore the area, quiet farmlands surrounded us The adventure started a year earlier and I was very excited to see the wedding day come closer and closer.
One of the best parts of the day was getting to know everyone that came to the wedding and could be part of the celebration.
“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close.”

An Idea sprung into a shoot
A few years ago I got the opportunity to work with both Aubrey and Michelle to produce some photos that highlight the desirability of her cakes. Michelle spent a majority of her initial time in the wedding industry as a dessert table and confectionary baker. But when it was time to move into wedding cakes, we got to talking about a photoshoot. The concept was relatively straightforward, we really wanted to let the cakes and environment work together for an aesthetic illustration of products. I hope you guys enjoy this small journal as they are a step in a new direction for the website. I have over 300,000 images in my catalogue and I plan to have more of them seen over the next few years! Here is to a very exciting 2022.
